Janet used to be a real beauty, the envy of the village. Then one day as the men folk were once more fawning over her beauty, her evil envious sister decided she could take no more and placed a spell on Janet. Any time someone spoke of Janet with a compliment, she turned into the hideous Witch. It happened so often that Janet became the Hideous Witch and now the Beautiful Janet has become the hideous Witch known as “Speaking of Witch”!
